Our Film

The film idea that we creates was to film a group of students walking to the most haunted woods in England. We decided that we were going to use the influence from films such as "the blair witch project" and "paranormal activity" to make our opening sequence as spooky as possible. However, during the making of our storyboard we realised that normally the audience do not see anything spooky or scary in the first 15 minutes of a film and as we only had a 2 minute limit we had to think of ways to bring slight spookiness into our film. Through sharing our thoughts and using teacher guidance we decided that we would need to use handheld camera shots and sound effects to show that the film would be a scary film.

Pluckley

Monday 14th November:

I went on a trip to Pluckley to take pictures for my AS Media Coursework. These photos were to help my group create our storyboard and have real images to draw imagination for our film piece from. These are 2 of the photos from the trip.

Preliminery Task
