The third Paranormal Activity was released just before we started filming our film, we had all seen the movie and decided that this was the type of horror we wanted to base our film around. We believed that the spookiness of never seeing the demon, the sound effects and the small creepy movements that show something is there.
During this scene of Paranomal Activity (Night 19), the demon has begun to do more obvious things which are filmed by the camera. The bed covers are lifted up which shows that the demon is trying to access the woman, but not going as far as to do so. The light is switched on then switched off again to continue with the suspense, then you hear slight breathing and the woman wakes up and says that she felt breathing on her face. This all adds up to the suspense of the film.
We used the eerie swing, the P.O.V shots and the creepy sounds to show that there was something that was going to go wrong during the teenagers 'fun' trip.
